Belgravia Foundation

Together, we can make a difference in local communities across Australia.

Founded by Geoff Lord, the Belgravia Foundation was created with a simple purpose to increase access to sports, aquatics, fitness and leisure for every Australian.

What does this mean?

  • Children and teens with autism who have missed out on swimming lessons because of cost, will get help.
  • Adults who live with mental illness who need support to join a health club, will get help.
  • Carers who typically put others before themselves, will get help to join an exercise group and experience a little ‘me’ time.

“We had private swimming lessons previously. The middle one, his confidence skyrocketed, he was a lot happier and more relaxed in the water. But we got funding for it and we were being charged $40.00 per half hour, per lesson, per kid.  Families can’t afford that sort of money, so basically once that funding ran out, we stopped the lessons.”
