Belgravia Leisure Announces NSW State Manager

After an extensive recruitment search post the recent announcement of James Ellender’s promotion, CEO Nick Cox has announced the appointment of Damien Bain as its NSW State Manager.

Starting out in Melbourne over 15 years ago, Damien has built a career in the health, fitness and leisure industry including a previous stint with Belgravia Health and Leisure Group. In 2011 Damien moved to Sydney with Fitness First in the role of National Acquisitions Manager for new site development and growth and after 18 months took the role of State Manager.

Over his 6+ years, Damien managed the largest Fitness First portfolio, lead retention and customer journey initiatives, launched new brands in Swimming and Dance and was heavily involved in community programs such as the Fit Schools Program, Balmoral Burn and alike. 

Announcing the appointment, Mr Cox stated ‘Damien brings a significant background in building culture, staff engagement and site performance and we look forward to what he can do to continue Belgravia Leisure’s focus in NSW.’

Belgravia Leisure, one part of the growing Australian owned Belgravia Group, now operates over 30 facilities across New South Wales in the Aquatics, Leisure, and Tourism markets. Damien’s role is pivotal in working closely with our Council partners, staff and customers to ensure Belgravia Leisure delivers on its promise of connecting community leisure.

With this appointment now complete, Belgravia Leisure has further strengthened its NSW Leadership Team with all leadership roles in place.
